The pot you're looking for is R100, on the "main" board. That's the
one under the top cover. If you look down on the board with the front
panel toward you, R100 is about in the middle of the right half of the
board. Slightly farther toward the rear and at the right edge of the
board is R89, which is labeled as "70% deviation adjustment". My copy
of the service manual doesn't really mention adjusting this control,
but I think it's sort of a "mic gain", while R100 sets the maximum
deviation.
