Sounds like a mismatch between the pro and the Ic2KL, but thats pretty
hard to create!! hi.....The pro will tend to fold back and drop power
under the LEAST critcal circumstances...doesn take much to make it
"disagree" with the amp and drop power....Id say that is whats happening.
Why? dunno. but try this......Get a dummy load or resonant antenna, turn
the AT 500 off, put the exciter in fm and start bring up the power til it
gets to 500 or 600 watts...then check the other bands, if they drop off ,
turn on your tuner in the pro and see if that brings it up...IF it does,
you may have a problem in the input of the amp....thats my suggestion of
where to start.....that and change the length of the coax between the PRO
and the IC2KL...good luck, they work great, I love mine!!! 73 Murray
