I'm running an IC-2KL on 120 volts. Its driven by an IC-756pro and I
also have the AT500 tuner. I find that I get 500 watts peak on 80
meters. I don't operate 160 but on the other bands (15 thru 40) I can
only get about 300 watts peak on SSB. I also notice that on those
bands the 756pro is only showing about 15 to 20 watts peak on the
power meter. If I put the amp in standby the transceiver goes right
up to 100 watts peak.

I've checked the ALC and it seems to be set properly. I've also
observed that my SWR appears to be ok on my meter. (between the amp
and the tuner).

Does the amp have a problem? I'm open to suggestions as to what to do
next as I'd like to get a bit more power on all bands.

One more thing. I had the station apart and prior to that I was also
getting about 500 watts on 15. Since I reassembled it I am only
getting 300.

Any help greatly appreciated!

Steve
