Hi all, I have a Kenwood TS850s/AT with a G5 RV. I can hear people ok.
However, when I try to transmit to someone else, they can't seem to hear me.
I have tried both on 20 and 17 meters. I am suspecting that there is a
problem because I would try to answer a CQ message and they would just keep
calling CQ like my signal is not getting out. The automatic tuner seems to
be working ok. The question is:
there something that I can check for on my radio or my antenna that might
indicate a problem? I have been making all my contacts from Medford,
Oregon. Could it be a problem with the antenna or the radio or is it just
the band conditions? Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

Eric Patterson, Kb7vfr.
