Is the microphone modulating? Does the Tx power output meter move when
you talk? Also, you need to dig up an SWR meter and check your transmitter
output power along with antenna SWR. Additionally, I'd telephone a local
ham, (there's lots in Medford), and ask him to listen to the signal while
you are talking.
