The name of Mexico is Los Estados Unidos Mexicanos. The United Mexican
States.
Brazil is Estados Unidos do Brasil. The United States of Brazil.
"America" is not in the name of any other country in the Western Hemispnhere
except for the USA.
All Latinos in the Hemisphere, however, consider themselves "of the
Americas" or American. South Americans are "Sudamericanos" and Central
Americans are "Centroamericanos." The group of Latin American nations are
members of the Organization of American States, or the "OAS" (Organización
de Estados Americanos."
