That would have been more difficult than it sounds because I could not
now replicate what the order eventually ended up being. And even if I
did have such a list, I sure as hell wouldn't now send it to them now
because of the high likelihood of continuing screw-ups.
Bear in mind that this was a telephone order for lots of little parts.
The original conversation with the order taker included:
"Gee, we're out of those; how about this instead?"
"OK"
"What do you have that will do this other function?"
"I suggest 6 of these items..."
"OK"
(etc.)
I didn't write all this stuff down as the order was being taken
because I had a phone in one hand and a QST ad in the other. I sorta
figured that they had the order and would handle it competently.
Silly me...
