Hi Bob and readers,
What you blokes need is legislation to prevent annoying and abusive
telemarkter calls. Since I signed up I haven't received a one except from
the occasional charitable (exempt) organization, usually police related.
No problem there, the cops serve me so I do them a good turn when I can.
It's far cheaper to use Indian operators than domestic ones because they
work almost for free, the price of international phone calls has hit rock
bottom and besides, corporations get the lowest rates to begin with. You
can suggest they get the marbles out of the mouth just to hear them tell
you to get stuffed, then tell them they sound like THEY'RE stuffed with
MARBLES! Don't get mad, get EVEN!
Just think, if the English hadn't colonized India none of this would have
ever happened. Just think, it's PAYBACK TIME, heh heh heh.
Now if we could only pass anti-spam legislation but that'll never happen,
the US is the worst spammer on the freakin' planet and will remain so as
long as the US Dollar is a viable commodity. (GROAN) Just think, if it
were illegal we'd get 80% of our bandwidth back and the ISPs would pass
the savings along with massive price rollbacks. Ah, I'm such a dreamer...
