Dear HAMs,
I have a Garmin GPSMAP76CS which is able to receive EGNOS signals from
geostationary satellites. As I was curious about the improvement in accuracy
with EGNOS I have plotted it with SA Watch. Oh wonder, accuracy was much
better without EGNOS enabled !!
Has anybody made same experience ? Is it a problem of the system itself not
working satisfactory in 49 deg latitude or is the implementation in the
Garmin units software marginal?

Any comments are welcome. You may also reach me via dk1vi@darc.de (preferably)
