Andy (G0FTD) asked about DGPS frequencies for a Koden rxcr.

I doubt the Japanese would bother to produce DGPS receivers for VHF when
the official band is 283.5-325 kHz. Our local station is at Cape Shank
~38.30S ~144.53E on 314Khz. and there is another 230 Nm to the east on
318 kHz at Malacoota.

A purpose built DGPS receiver must be able to automatically or manually
tune the allocated 300 kHz band. As well as official Differential GPS
stations there is supposed to be a commercial outfit broadcasting in
our VHF band. I can hear something on the suggested freq of 152.375 mHz
but have never seen a receiver marketed to exploit this.

I have seen cheap looking VHF receivers designed to tune a sub-carrier
on a local FM music station but in my experience in Marine Electronics
have never seen these in the flesh either. I believe these cheap items
were designed to demodulate a sub-carrier above 67 kHz.

So my money is on the Koden being VLF.

Best of luck in your search Andy.
