I believe many steam locos were shipped to Australia from the UK in the
19th Century. The loco in the shed at Carnarvon has Glasgow on its' plate.

Yes No#4472 was shipped to Australia in 1980s to celebrate their
bi-centenary.  I wonder what engines were shipped in WW2..they
must be collector's items too?   Gee.... you really had me wondering
why maybe in WW2, they'd ship to OZ...a railway item still in use?
