Hi All,
Have a heart, don't give those VK4's all the credit. Here in VK3 we also
have a "Puffing Billy". This narrow gauge steam train has been running for
at least 70 years.
It is currently only a tourist railway but 60 odd years ago I used to
catch it to go to school in the town of Upwey. In those days it ran from
Upper Ferntree Gully to Gembrook and ran numerous services per day.
Part of it's route has now been electrified but it is still is, and also
is, a world famous tourist attraction.
