Hi Peter and all,
At 33C I can't blame you for playing in your rubber duck pond, it's the
same here and even the rubber ducks are unhappy. Stinking heat wave it is
and the high humidity doesn't help any, New York blew a fuse, again. No
worry about terrorists for the time being, they stay at home finding the
desert more comfortable. At this rate Sgt. Preston just might find pot
growing in Yukon after all and maybe a few stoned moose, I've had
certaind doubts about Bullwinkle all along.
Yup, wives are well known for the Calvery Club Card... CHARGE it!
Meanwhile Chief Yellow Hair looks for his peace pipe to no avail, the
kid's off to Yukon and those fields of plenty. It's General Custard's
last stand, find that darn card and burn it.
Come to think of it, there is this "urban ledgend" about the ice
fishermen, a stick of dynamite and a retreiver. Now I'm leaning more
toward Bob and Doug and a hockey puck and some Maple Leafs blowing in the
wind. I'm also wondering what those grumps from Michegan do in summer, I
heard they go fishing with hand grenades.
Let's not get into how Rusty suppliments his diet, I already know having
seen some of the things dogs eat, eeesh. Speaking of strange dietary
suppliments, dog biscuits actually DO taste good. I knew a girl who
brought them to school and we'd sit in the back munching on them being we
and just about every other kid prefered them to the school lunch. Back
then there actually was a dietician and no pizza or hamburgers, uh, in
the middle of that I just realized the dietician was fired from the
hospital. I guess that explains why when I was in the hospital I ate well
and thinking back that infamous hospital food is still head and shoulders
over the school lunch. Toss the furry one a dog biscuit, they're better
than that Batchelor Chow you were feeding him last winter. No wonder he
growled and tossed you out of bed, who could blame him?
Now I'm getting hungry for a biscuit myself so quickly finishing the
bull(s) I'm off to explore the dark corners of the refrigerator for some
edible mold and failing that I'll see how it smokes. Pass the pipe
Bullwinkle...
