Hi Pete and anyone interested,
Oh relax before you blow a gasket. You DID clear up my confusion for
which I thanked you but at the same time reported an open can of Google
worms. I am ALWAYS confused by today's news reporting, nobody takes the
time to get things straight before publishing, reporters are bad enough
but the so called editors are asleep at the switch so the story ends up a
train wreck. The talking heads just read copy and I have little doubt
that off camera they shake their heads and wonder WHO WRITES THIS STUFF???
Yeah, I'm sure it's news to you, another glaring error in reporting was
the second language being Urdu reported as Arabic. Of course you didn't
know the truth, as you stated you refused to check it out on You Tube out
of indignation. I set outrage aside and enter the lion's den having a
look-see on my own on many occasions, it's only the internet, it can't
hurt me. I'm not worried about the men in black either, I have them so
confused they wrote me off as a harmless nut a long time ago.
Of course I accessed You Tube and Google right here in "the beach" only
because I have no reason to fool around with proxy servers. Google IS the
internet so it really doesn't matter where you tap in. Well, not exactly,
nothing else was affected so I have a choice of two unexplained reasons
for all the farting and belching. Being the servers are so interconnected
it was ripples on the pond. A DoS cyber-terror attack that Anonymous or
some other group didn't claim credit for and/or never reported by
mainstream or "Wired" news. In any case Google didn't go down completely
but it sure was rough for a while.
Yeah, somehow that Minotaur just seemed to fit the topic SO well. (;->)
