> Ah Pete! This was fiction. Yes 20 seconds of glory!

Okay ...BOB ... now what part was the fiction? You and
the film, or your 20 seconds of national and possible
international fame at the organ?

> and it took all day to film the one scene.

Try commercials ... then there is retakes... and then they
just roll tape hoping for the best at the end of the day or
until the light is all wrong < if they didn't bring the lamps
with them >....

> They gave me $450 and a roast dinner at midday for my
> trouble, which was not bad money for 20 seconds even if it
> took all day!

BOB ... that isn't too bad. Extras get a lot less, and they
usually get a sandwich and drink from the local " chew n choke".
Volunteers at the various TV and radio stations get only the
ordered lunch, and a pat on the back.

During a recent movie they even paid a neighbour $ 100 not to
run his lawn mower...hahahaha.

> Had corns on my never mind by the time the day ended.
> Those jarrah organ stools are certainly HARD!

Hey Bob! It is a church, and the chairs ... phews encourage
everyone to jump to their feet to sing and pray. Oh yes HARD
and very very uncomfortable. Designed that way....<giggle>

> No Kelly had a horse. The coach was what he used to rob.
> Stage coaches; they had 'em in the US - Cobb and Co. here.

Oh OK ... he was like in those Hollywood movies. By the way
you put it, I was thinking other characters.

Not smoking is the best thing Bob. Lots of pressure in the
past to, light up, it was considered kewl because some screen
star smoked...etc. I once tired a cigar, and choked...and
then tired a cigarette and same result, and for some reasons
I was totally turned off ... I even have a tagline I used to
use with my landline BBS  QWKmail reader... it went like this;

" Kissing a Smoker is like licking an astray "

My first wife smoked worse then my hotrod. I think thats
how I got the tagline. She didn't appreciate it, and made all
efforts to make smoking an issue in our relationship, which I
guess led to us going our separate ways. I used to be sick
in the house with secondhand smoke... Maria doesn't smoke
and while her mother smokes she does not inhale into the lungs
but has her smoke in the mouth then expells...but I don't
think that is okay either. I think I detect a new thread...
SMOKING@WW ...another service of hammie radio.

Oh well carry on ..theres a great series of films!
