Hi All.
About 10 months or so ago I put out a bulletin trying to find out if
anyone was connected to my family.I did get quite a number of enquiries mostly
from people completely unrelated asking for help. I did spend quite a few
hours trying to trace information for quite a number of those people. However
it was very disappointing that two things appear to stop things short. Firstly
a General lack of real details from that person and for some reason unknown to
me no replies to messages sent to most of those people. I now have quite a
bit of information that isn't of any use to me in own researches.
However since that time I now have information on the following family
names Moore (Devon) back to 1120, Stawell (Devon) back to 1066, Bampfylde,
(Bamfield, Baumfylde) (Devon) back to Henry III. Also numerous other
connections including Sir Walter Raleigh, Sir Francis Drake and William,
Lord Bonvylle (Bonville) and Harrington. All the previous having at some stage
a connection to my family. Also have a family tree for the name Yarde (Devon)
going back to the 10th century. Blackmore (Devon and Somerset area now part of
Avon) to 16th Century. The previous two also connected to my family as well.
Anyone who has an interest in the above names I may be able to help
Providing people are genuine in their interest and prepared to give as much
information as possible. People seem very reluctant in giving enough detials.
