I am looking for addition information about:
  ------------------------------
  Name : Teunis (Teunis) OOMEN
  ------------------------------
  Born : 7-Aug-1891 in Haarlemmermeer (the Netherlands/Holland)
Died : 1914-1918 in France (Europe).
   Father: Marinus (Marinus) OOMEN
Mother: Wilhelmina Bastina (Mien) de Bruin ³

Teunis left the Netherlands on 15th of april 1912. He went to
California (USA). He became a soldier in World War I in US Service
and was killed in a US mission in WW I in the North of France (Europe).

I have no records of Teunis OOMEN, about place and date of his dead, his
military number, rank in the army, etc. and where he has lived in
California (USA).

Contacts with family OOMEN in the Netherlands only provided above
information.

Perhaps somebody can help me to find out the additional information
of Teunis OOMEN.

Teunis OOMEN fits in my family history which goes back to 1350. In the
period after 1450 the name OOMEN already existed. In the period before
1450 the name was OEMEN and OEM. This part of the family history goes
back to 1200. The family OEM/OEMEN/OOMEN has its roots in DORDRECHT,
which was one of the most important cities at that time in Holland.

If you know people with the name OOMEN, OOMEm OOMENS, OOMES please
forward there name, address to me. I have a lot of information that
show that family members went to Canada, USA, Australia, New Sealand
etc. May be the people you know of are related to the OOMEN family
I am working on. It looks they are all related up to 1200.

regards,
Wim OOMEN
