Hello. Thank you for reading this request for information.

I recently wrote to Chartlann N isiŁnte - National Archives - in Dublin
asking for information on the use of the Archives for tracing birth,
marriage and death certificates of family members.
They sent me a standard handout giving details of the records held at 8-11
Lombard Street and other sites and a list of professional researchers, all
of which was useful up to a point. They did not, however, answer four
specific questions that I asked:-

1. Are the records open for inspection by casual callers?
2. Is it necessary to book appointments to see the records?
3. Are there any fees involved?
4. What are the weekday opening times?

I should be very grateful if anyone could answer any or all of these
questions for me, before I book a week's stay in Dublin.

Thanks again for taking the trouble to read this.
