Hi there,
this sundays'operation started early because of a sked at 02Z
with EME-pioneer, par excellence, from down under: VK5MC.
Chris'6m dish and 100W produced loud echoes making a new and easy initial,
country and continent for ON5RR, finally completing his WAC on 23cm.
You've been providing a new and often "last" one for many decades to so
many and now it was our turn...Thanks Chris!!!!
The activity continued in contest-style for many hours. It's amazing
to see the bunch of contacted stations (21) in the log.
The condx were excellent for many hours with occasionaly someone complaining
about QRM... It's very rarely that the band gets filled up that much
during non-contest weekends...!
We were happy to find 6 initials:
-on sked:
VK5MC and JA6CZD
-on random operation:
OZ6OL, W7CS, G3LQR and DF3RU.
(This finally completes the hunting for Karl-story ...!)
It was nice to have another
-SSB QSO with: LX1DB and HB9BBD
-CW QSO with: LA8LF, S59DCD, OE9ERC, VE1ALQ, N6BQ, W2UHI, OZ4MM, K4QI,
K5JL, EA6ADW, K2UYH, N2IQU and KD4LT.
We hrd/called: SM2CEW, K3HZO, WA8WZG, W6HD, KB2AH and F2TU.
The 6m dish was stored by 15Z...
