Hello moonbouncers,
here is my report of the first leg of the ARRL-EME-contest. Due to travelling
back from vacation I missed the first US window.
I worked on 432 MCs:
UR5LX (O/O), JA5OVU (449/549), DL9KR (549/559), OZ4MM (O/O), ON4KNG (O/O),
OH2PO (549/559), G3LTF (O/O), HB9SV (549/549), OE5JFL (549/449), DL9NDD
(539/529), K1FO (549/549), W7CI (O/O), G4FUF (O/O), SM3AKW (439/449), K5GW
(O/O), PA2CHR (O/O) and PA3CSG (539/539) = 17x14.
I heard and called with no reply: K0RZ, G3LQR, UT5DL, ON5OF, DK3WG, JL1ZCG and
JA9BOH.
Rig is Kenwood TS-850 and homemade transverter (NF 0.5 dB) + PA 700 W out +
antenna 4x23-ele. DJ9BV (6 lambda).
At moonrise I have a window within 25 deg. elevation and during moonset I can
start at elevations lower than 45 deg. So my time off the moon is very limited.
Sked proposals are welcome via PR to DL4KG @ DB0MKA.#NRW.DEU.EU or my e-mail
address gznoyek@nknetworks.com (as it is in my office I have access only on
working days.
Best regards and hope to meet you during the 2nd leg.
Gerald, DL4KG
