Hi All,

Some information about the Swiss Foxhunt beacons, those of you
within range might like to look out for these (there will be one
on air tonight), power is just 1.6watts:

Every 4th Tuesday of the month, beginning in April till September,
our local group of radio amateurs from Biel and environs, organizes
a foxhunt. Here are the frequencies and the dates:

Date: Frequency: Operator's Call:

June 24 3.551 MHz HB9CVH
July 22 3.540 MHz HB9OD
August 24 3.540 MHz HB9OD
September 23 3.578 MHz HB9PR

The "foxes" are running from 19.00 to 21.30 HB-time. The sites are
chosen by the operators, but always near Biel.

The information came from Willy, HB9BYB, the President of the USKA
group, which operate the Foxhunts. 'Biel' is the German name for
Berne.

Good hunting,
73 for now, Alan G4TMV.
