01/05/2003: Look for Vincenzo, IK8SHL/p, to be QRV May 1st from Castello di
Isabella Morra a Valsinni (DCI reference MT-047 for the Italian Castles
Award, Loc. JN80fd). Activity will be on 40 and 20 meter SSB, during the
morning. The Castle of Isabella Morra to Valsinni is located in the Region
of Basilicata, Province of Matera (MT). QSL via home call, direct or bureau.

02/05/2003: Ralph, NM5RC/p, reports that he will be QRV from Bobs Island
(USI NEW), located in Lake Roberts (Grant County, Grid DM53), New Mexico.
Operation will be between 16:00 and 20:00 UTC, May 2nd. Look for him between
14.250 and 14.270 MHz, as he moves for nets and wants to find a clear
frequency that he can keep. If 20 meters starts to lag, he will try 10

25/07/2003: A multinational group (CT1APE, CT1CJJ, CT1EEB, CT1ILT, CT2GLO,
EA1CA, EA1DKV, EA4ABE, EA4ST, EA5FX and N5KO, with aid of EA1MC) will be QRV
July 25th to 27th as ED1ONS from Ons Island (EU-080, DIE O-003, Loc. IN52mj)
and lighthouse (FEA D-1846), IOTA contest included. There will also be
activity on 50, 144 and 432 MHz. QSL via ED4URJ, direct (Seccion Comarcal
Ure Jarama, Apartado Postal 389, E-28100 Alcobendas, Madrid, Spain) or via

16/08/2003: The Michigan DX Association will activate both Grand Havens
South Pierhead Inner (USA-1077) and Outer Lighthouses (USA-1078) August 16th
and 17th. They will activate under their club call W8DXI. The lighthouses
are located in Ottawa County, Michigan, Loc. EN63ub. Further information to

17/08/2003: The Michigan DX Association will activate the Historic Grand
Haven (Main) Lighthouse (USA-327) on the shores of Lake Michigan (Ottawa
County, Loc. EN63ub) August 17th and 18th. Further details to follow. [Tnx
