Western Sahara DXPedition
S05X Team keeps preparing the next BIGGEST DXPedition ever seen to Sahara
Desert.
11 Operators from 6 different countries, from April 16th until April 21st,
will be on air from Tifariti, Western Sahara, in a 24 hours, all band, all
mode transmition.
Equipments include: Kenwood TS2000, a few Icom 706s , Icom 756PRO and our
star A BRAND NEW ICOM 7400 (Icom 746PRO) to test in this really hard
enviroment.
We have this special Icom IC7400 thanks to one of our supporters, the major
Icom reseller in Italy: Giorgio Mossino's "D.A.E. Telecomunicazioni" who is
always ready to support RADIOACTIVITIES.
Other of our kindly supporters is giving to us 4 brand news Laptops to use
during our DXPedition. "Hewlett Packard Italy" will let us use their fasts
new XE4000 for our logging and digitals transmission.
>From the first day S05X wil be in CW, SSB, RTTY and PSK to give you 59(9)
from a exceptional locator for the very first time.
Our QSL manager is URE, the Spanish National Asociation and Buro, and the
cards will go VIA EA4URE.
