Hi All

The Kermadec Dx Association wishes to announce that all QSL requests for
our highly successfull DXpedition to the Chatham Isalnds, ZL7C ,in October
2002 which were received as of Wednesday 26th February will be answered
and despatched through New Zeraland Post on Friday 28 February
2003. Please note that this does NOT include cards received via QSL
Services and the like. These will be mailed out at a later date when time
permits.

Our mailout on 28 Feb. will consist of some 5100 plus envelopes which
contain in excess of 19,200 QSO's and they will be mailed taking advantage
of New Zealand Post's International ECONOMY rate, so we would ask that you
please be patient and allow between 3 and 5 weeks for delivery.

Our processing team have completed this task in just over one month from
the time we received our cards from our major sponsors, Vertex Standard,
(formerly Yaesu of Japan) whom we thank very much for their
ongoing sponsorship. Our team have done a fantastic job in such a short
period of time considering each member had work and travel commitments to
work arround.

To those of you who did not include sufficient postage OR a return Self
addressed envelope with your requests these cards WILL go via the bureau.

To those who included other DXpedition cards with your ZL7C requests these
will take a little longer to process and mailed out accordingly.

We would appreciate you all NOT posting messages to the various
REFLECTORS etc on receipt of your cards. This only causes panic and high
blood pressure levels amongst our community and prompts unnecessary emails
to me.

I will begin processing incomming QSL information emails as of 1 May
2003 when by which time you should have received your ZL7C cards. At
this date I will be in a position to check to see if your cards have
actually arrived at my QTH.

We will also begin processing 2nd requests after this date. Please if
possible, avoid sending second requests until after the 1 May 2003. This
gives us more time to spend on genuine 1st requests.

As I have mentioned in my earlier postings, cards that have been sent to
my OLD Wellington addresses may not reach me and those who sent them to
other addresses from pre 1989 call books etc I suggest you update your
records etc. Those who NOW reside at the old addresses do not allways
appreciate mail for previous property owners especially after some 3 years.

Please feel free to publish this email in full in any media format you
consider appropriate. The wider the coverage the less
problems/complaints we will receive.

Finally, we thank you all for participating in our Dxpedition which as I
mentioned earlier was a huge success and without your contacts this would
not have been possible. Yes we did have some fun and I hope that you all
enjoyed the contacts that you made with us, all be it they were so brief.

To those who supported us, a big thank you and we hope that you will
continue to support DXpeditions in the future regardless of their size.

Kind regards and best wishes for the future and Good DXing. Our HOBBY is
still very much alive and well.
