ANTARCTICA, VP8/a
     Felix,DL5XL, arrived at the German base Georg von Neumayer (Ekstroem
     Shelf Ice, Atka Bay, Northeast Weddell Sea, 70 deg 39' S, 8 deg 15' W,
     IOTA AN-016, WABA DL-03). He is an electrician and will stay over the
     Antarctic winter. He will be on the air as DP1POL working mainly in CW
     during his spare time. QSL via DL1ZBO, bureau ok. More information

BELIZE, V3, NA-180
     Art,NN7A, will sign V31JZ/p from South Water Caye from Jan 17-20. He
     will work with 100 watts and wire antennas mainly in CW on 40-10m
     (including the WARC bands) and possibly also on 80/160m. You can
     expect him to shop up on the 20m/15m SSB IOTA frequencies as well.
     QSL via NN7A, bureau ok.

CABO VERDE, D4
     Al,4L5A, will sign D4B during the CQ 160m CW Contest on Jan 24/26.

     contest participations can be expected for this year.

CROOKED ISLAND, C6, NA-113
     AA8LL/C6A and K8LIZ/C6A are planning a SSB activity on the 40-10m IOTA
     frequencies. They have a permission to activate "Bird Rock" lighthouse
     as C6ALB. CW operation is also possible if requested.
     QSLs via the homecalls, C6ALB via AA8LL.

DOMINICA, J7, NA-101
     Manfred,DJ7RJ, will hit the airwaves as J79RJ working in CW/SSB on
     160-6m from Jan 18-31. Next stop will be Grenada.

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, HI, NA-096
     John,F5VHQ/HI9, will be QRV in SSB on 40-10m from Jan 16-24.
     QSL via F5VHQ, bureau ok.

ECUADOR, HC
     Andy,HC1/NP3D, is on the air from Quito from Jan 22-27. He will work in
     CW/SSB on all bands and in the 160m CW Contest. QSL via W3HNK.

EQUATORIAL GUINEA, 3C
     Alan,G3XAQ, is signing 3C5XA from Malabo on Bioko Island (IOTA AF-010)
     until Jan 21. You can find him mostly in CW on the lowbands.

HONDURAS, HR
     Wayne,K9YNF, is spending his holidays on Roatan Island (NA-057) for
     one week starting on Jan 11. K9YNF/HR9 can be found in SSB on 14260,
     18128, 24950, 28460 and 28560 kHz during his morning hours.

IWO JIMA ISLAND, JD1, AS-030
     JM6DZB/JD1 is momentarily QRV from Kazan Island working in SSB on
     80/40/15m. He will stay until the end of 2003.

MADEIRA, CT3
     Hermann,HB9CRV, will stay on Madeira and the neighboring island Porto
     Santo from Jan 21 - Feb 12. He will sign CT3FN during the 160m CW
     Contest and he also plans to participate in the Mexican RTTY Contest
     and the CQ WPX Contest. He will emphasize the lowbands during the rest
     of the time. QSL via HB9CRV, bureau ok.

MALAWI, 7Q
     Harry,7Q7HB, is in Malawi now for about three months. Skeds can be
     arranged via e-mail to allan.g0ias@btinternet.com. Requests for skeds
     on 160m are useless since almost no signals are coming through the QRM
     on that band. QSL via G0IAS, unfortunately direct only.

NIUE ISLAND, ZK2, OC-040
     Bert,PA3GIO, is hitting the airwaves with 100 watts signing ZK2GI in
     SSB from Jan 18-26. The best skip to Europe is from 0800-1400 UTC
     (best around 1100 UTC). Please send your QSL requests via e-mail to
     bert@pa3gio.nl (without attachments!) but bureau QSLs are fine as well.

SINT EUSTATIUS ISLAND, PJ6, NA-145
     Lee,VP2VE, plans to become QRV as PJ6/K3RGD between Jan 10 and Feb 10.

SOUTH AFRICA, ZS
     The special event station ZS90SAP is active throughout the year 2003
     to celebrate the foundation of the South African police 90 years ago.
     QSL via ZS6ZYM, bureau ok.

SUDAN, ST
     William,ZS5WC/ST0F, is staying in Khartoum until summer 2003.
     Unfortunately there is no further information available.

WAKE ISLAND, KH9
     Chuck,N4BQW/KH9, should be on the air from Jan 12-28. He plans to work
