12/16/2002: Ron, W6OM, will be active as FO5VO from Bora Bora (OC-067,
DIFO:FO-003) between December 16th and 20th. Operation will be mostly CW on

12/16/2002: Harry, W6YOO, will be active from French Polynesia between
December 16th and 20th as FO/W6YOO. His operation will be as follows:
December 16th from Bora Bora (OC-067, DIFO:FO-003), December 17th from
Moorea (OC-046, DIFO:FO-010), December 18th to 19th from Papeete, Tahiti
(OC-046, DIFO:FO-002) and December 20th from Paiatea (OC-067, DIFO:FO-012).

12/18/2002: W1HH/KH6 will be active December 18th to 31st from Hawaii
(OC-019), QRP only. Look for him 5 kHz up from band edge on 20 and 15

12/18/2002: Alfredo, IK7JWX, and members of the Albanian Amateurs Radio
Club Partizani (Tirana) are planning to be active from Sazan Island
(EU-169), Albania, between December 18th and 22nd. The callsign will be
ZA0IS, operated by ZA1FD, ZA1FH, ZA1KP and ZA5G. Alfredo will use the call
ZA0/IK7JWX. Also planned is the activation of Sazan Island lighthouse
(ALB-004). Operation will be on all bands, including WARC, SSB and CW. QSL

12/19/2002: Dan, VK8AN, will be active as 4W6AN from Dili, East Timor
(OC-148) from around December 19th through the end of the year. Due to
limited notice and possible impermanence, Dan will only be putting out about
15 watts and the antennas will be a GP and a dipole to start with, but an
amplifier is being considered. Look for him on the usual DX and IOTA
frequencies from 40 through 10 metres. QSL direct only via VK4AAR (Alan

12/19/2002: Jeff, PJ4/W8RXR, plans to be active from Bonaire, Netherland
Antilles (SA-006) between December 19, 2002, and January 3, 2003. Operation
will be on 15 and 20 meters, CW and SSB. QSL via home call, direct or

12/20/2002: The next schedule with LU1ZD, operating from the General San
Martin base (AN-016, WABA LU-11) will be on December 20th at 22.30 UTC on

12/21/2002: John, W2AGN (ARLHS member #142), will be active during the
"Lighthouse Christmas Lights" event as W2C. He plans to be active between
14:00 UTC December 21st to 19:00 UTC December 22nd from Finn's Point Rear
Range Light (USA-285). The lighthouse is located in the Fort Mott area,
Pennsville, NJ (Salem County). If the weather does not cooperate, John will
activate Finn's Point Rear Range on the following weekend. QSL W2C via John

12/21/2002: The Central Texas Contest Group, WA5DTK, will be active between
00:01 UTC December 21st and 11:59 UTC December 31st from various lighthouses
located in Texas. No other specifics were given. Look for them on 7260,

12/22/2002: Salvatore, IK1AWV/p, and Max, IK1GPG/p, will be active December
22nd, starting at 09:30 UTC, from Torre dei Giusi di Imperia (DCI reference
IM-082 for the Italian Castles Award, Loc: JN43AV). Operation will be on 40
and 20 meter SSB. Torre dei Giusi is located in the Region of Liguria,

12/23/2002: Steve, K2ZPF/p, plans to be active December 23rd to 31st from
three islands in the State of Florida. His prime location will be on St.
George Island (NA-085, USI FL-007S), Franklin County. He will try for a day
on St. Vincent Island (FL-006S, NOT IOTA), Gulf County, and one day on Dog
Island (FL-005S, NOT IOTA), Franklin County. Operation will be SSB QRP
(FT-817 and MP1) primarily on the hfpack frequencies, 17 and 20 meters. QSL
via home call, direct or bureau. SASE / SAE + postage for direct QSLing.

12/28/2002: Dave, GM0LVI/p, will be active from Tanera Mor (SCOTIA CN-32,
IOSA SC-10), the Summer Isles (EU-092), between December 28th, 2002 and
January 2nd, 2003. Operation will be on 80 through 20 meters, CW and SSB.

12/29/2002: Takeshi, JI3DST, will be active between 06:00 UTC December 29th
