Hello and many thanks for reading this message.
I shall be brief.
I am an owner of a KENWOOD TS 850 SAT, equiped with the extra 500 Hz and 1.7
KHz for the 8.83 MHz IF and the extra 500 Hz for the 455 KHz IF. I am working
mostly CW and digital modes, and these extra filters provide me the
selectivity that i need in a great way.
I was thinking of bying the extra DSP-100 of KENWOOD for the 850 rig....
I presume that my selectivity won't get any better, ex when i am using both
the 500 Hz filters fer cw, i don't think that adding the DSP will give me less
selectivity.... But what i am counting on, is that the DSP might remove some
of the noise problem i am having.
So, my question is, WILL DSP-100 REMOVE ANY NOISE AT ALL???? And another fear
that i have is that, if i finally buy the DSP-100, will i be able to use those
extra filters i have ALONG with the DSP-100, or will they be disabled?????
I thank you in advance for ANY kind of reply you send me. Anything at all....
