Yes, there is clipping on the noise and on some of the louder signals

No, the TNC decodes the frames beautifully.

I cranked it all the way up to the clipping level because PKT.DOC
mentions that when LED206 (I believe - I do not not have PKT.DOC in
front of me right now) glows at about 75%, then I would see the +- 3
V signal at TP1.
And BTW I do mean U202-3. Sorry for the slip of the finger.
