I have a ts-790a model and want to change it into a ts-790e!
So far i have gathered that one have to make a change in the diode matrix.
In the US version the diodes nr: d32 d30 d29 and d23 are installed.
PSE!! Anyone with the ts-790e open ur rig (top) and send me a mail stating
what diodes are present! If u have the service manual it's sure
to be listed there??
I've done the mods for 9k6 packet. I can rx ok, but I don't manage to conect
to any station with my DSP-2232!! Maybe I should increase the output from the
DSP to drive the varactor more? Do you have a hint, pse inform me.
