Hello All,
Just thought I would pass on my comments to those who maybe
interested on the Timewave DSP filter (S).
I dont think I have ever heard anything, or had anything so good in the
shack ? It takes just a little while to get used to using the thing, but
when you have cracked it you cant help but be impressed ! It gets rid on
noise/tones/QRM of all kinds, and its like listening to FM Audio.
The AGC control enables you to enhance the RX audio of all modes, and
HF Data modes become a doddle !! I use G-Tor/Pactor on 20m, and from time
to time I have had a struggle when others are on the same freq + - ,but
the DSP is good enough to sort them all out apart from the one that you
want??
CW operators would be impressed I am shure, you can filter out all the
QRM/QRN and even hear signals that are normaly so weak you would have a
hard time !!
Please Note I have NO concern with any comercial outlet, and I dont
work for any of them !! I am just passing on MY comments to others who
maybe considering DSP Audio filters !
