hello, DSP-users,

i am very much interested in informations about
possible dsp applications for ham use like
digital filters for morse code, automatic notch,
noise reduction, speech processing and so on
(something like the features of the NIR10-device
at a lower price).

i have heard of the TI DSK for $99 and just got
the TI user's guide for the TMS320c2x series.
i expected some more tools for design and think, that
it will take too much time to develop the assembler
program for realizing the wanted functions.

may be you have some more experience than i have
concerning digital processing algorithm.
so far, i'm familiar with the principles only, but
havn't done own work.

is there any recommandation concerning the TAPR DSP-kit?
in the boards i read about a small number of kits
that will be produced and sold for $400. what does this
contain? the price is in the region of devices offered
at the ham market, so i'm unsure about that.

thanks for any remarks,

73 de mario
