Hello and thanks for reading this message.
I have recently set up a Packet Cluster here in Perth Western Australia.
I'm using a DRSI PC*PA 1 card and it has developed a problem.
Hopefully one of you out there can offer a suggestion as to fixing it !
Yesterday the card would not accept connects to it when using the Packet Cluster (tm)
software though it would connect to other packet stations using the DRSI
packet program(HB9CVV).
Now it will not allow connects in any software and the transmit packets are
very fast bursts with no detectable tones lasting micro-seconds.
I'm not a software expert ! and would appreciate any advice to get our
Cluster back on air again (It had only been running 19 days !)
The DRSI board was bought second-hand and may have an inherent fault as
this same symptom occured on day one of operation and then went away.
The baud rates are set in the driver programs to 1200 baud as specified by
DRSI but the tx baud rate sounds more like 28k baud !.
I look forward to your input and getting the cluster back on air again.
Many thanks 73 from VK6XH Sysop VK6DXC DX Cluster.
