Hi there,
I am looking for the schematic diagram of the Drake TR7 PSU, the PS7.
The problem is that in the power peaks the TR7 shuts off and by resetting
the TR7 the set is functional again. The tests were performed on a
dummy load with good return loss on 7 MHz.
In the PS7 I can see two potentiometers, one is clearly the voltage out
setting; the purpose of the other one is not clear yet.
Is there a procedure to set these potentiometers up?
I've had a similar problem when transmitting in a short or bad VSWR load,
but this is ruled out this time by the use of a GOOD load...
I welcome any advise to use this SUPER rig again!
Thanks in advance,
Michel
