Here a brief message about DAMA for Kantronics.
What do you have to do and to know if you order an update at your local
dealer.
A.] DAMA slave mode protocol is only available for the KAM with
ENHANCEMENT BOARD, the KAM Plus, the KPC-3 and the KPC9612.
The old units like the old KAM, KPC-2 and KPC-4 aren't update.
(The only way the KAM can be updated to include DAMA, is by
installation of the ENHANCEMENT BOARD. )
B.] New units of the ENHANCEMENT BOARD and KAM Plus (version 8.0)
and the KPC-3 and KPC9612 (version 6.0) as well as the updates
for these units are now shipping with DAMA slave mode INCLUDED.
C.] The EPROM update for the ENHANCEMENT BOARD is version 8.0E.
The EPROM update for the KAM Plus is version 8.0P.

So, E version for ENHANCEMENT BOARD and P version for KAM Plus.

It is very important to order the right EPROM.
How can you see the difference? Very simple.
