FACT: To anyone interested in working long distance VHF/UHF and above the
ability to send and receive morse code is still essential. Yes, there are
marvellous things done with computers and special gear but who wants to
pay for such when the human ear will decode it for nothing?
A have worked KH6, JA, YB0, T88, FK8 during the past three or four years
and all were on CW. SSB was impossible. There has been no practical method
of replacing CW in cases like this.
