RE: Demise of Morse Code
This topic has been on here before, and everyone needs to be
assured that it isn't going to disappear because the Governments
of the world have remove it from the training mannuals of their
forces. As before they will rely on Amateur Radio to supply
the fully self-trained radio operator...as well other sources.
Lots of places on the "hf" where one can hear the brass pounders
there doing their thing. No signs there of death :)
Go to a railway re-union picnic sometime. You might be surprised
to see competitions there for who is the fastest at sending code.
Everyone will remember the end of code use in the railways. So many
years ago...but they still keep the "art" alive.... Same for
Amateur radio.
All done... Hvae a nice week where ever you are...sleep easy
knowing that code is not dead or dieing :)
