Not for posting on VK6JY or VK5LZ BBSs please.

I and others have referred on here a few times to the gradual
"de-Christmas-isation" of Christmas which seems to gain momentum
both here and in the US, year on year.

There's a campaigning group in the UK known as "Real Christmas".
It decided to carry out a survey of hotels in the North of England
to see how many, if any, could cope with a birth, and visitors
including shepherds and members of the Royal Family.

Only one in thirty said they could find room for Joseph and Mary,
and only the Landsdowne in Manchester could accommodate a donkey.

Once in Royal David's City..........

Seems like not much has changed in 2005 years.
