Hi Gerard. Very funny, ha ha. Here is meaning from my Oxford Dictiobary:

flash verb 1. lights flashed light up, shine out, flare, blaze, glare,
beam, gleam, glint, sparkle, flicker, shimmer, twinkle, glimmer, glisten,
scintillate, coruscate, fulgurate. 2. the runners/cars/time flashed past
dart, dash, tear, shoot, zoom, streak, fly, whistle, rush, bolt, race,
bound, speed, career; inf. scoot, skedaddle. 3. flash her new ring show
off, flaunt, flourish, display, exhibit. 4. the peculiar man flashed at
the girls expose oneself, show one's genitals.

You should know that it was the number 1. definition that I used and not
number 4. that is offensive.
