Good day, I am interested in reading peoples thoughts about good QSK rigs..
I have 2 rigs that supposedly do this, a Yaesu FT-900 and an Icom 706 MK 2.
The yaesu seems to be the best of the 2, think it uses diode switching, whereas the icom uses relays, and after a long session at the phones and key, is
a little hard on the nerves. I am looking to find a good older, prefereably
solid state rig, that has full QSK and uses diode swithching.. also should
have dual vfo's, a must for most dx settings. So.... any thoughts about
this subject?
