If you ask google to search for "Morse Code" it will come back with more
than a million sites, some useful, some not so useful, with a lot of
duplication. It's a good indication that there remains a huge interest
in Morse. (Don't ask google to search for "CW" or it will come back with
10 million sites, most of which are nothing to do with morse code!)

I came across an interesting website of a UK amateur, Tony, G3NPF and
his partner, Anne, M1AIM. Tony & Anne are located at Storrington, in
West Sussex, England, and Tony, weho was licensed in 1959, is a retired
Chartered Engineer.

His website has lots of features about amateur radio, and in particular,
some interesting stuff about Morse, and other codes. His codes index is:

Q-Codes - Full listing of all the Q-Codes
Z-Codes - Full listing of all the Z-Codes

Morse Code - A brief history of the Morse Code together with full listings
for the International Morse Code, the codes for the Russian alphabet,
accented letters used in other European Languages and in Esperanto.

Procedural signals, the original land-line Morse Code used in the USA in
the nineteenth century and the old US Navy "Morse" code are also defined.

Baudot Code - A brief history of the Baudot Code (also known as the Murray
Code),

He also gives a full listing of Emission Classes - Although not codes in
the same sense as those above, the three character designators for all
forms of radio emissions are explained in the abbreviations section of
his web-site. (Sure, we could find it in our licence docs).

Tony's site contains lots more stuff about amateur radio, and lots of
non-amateur radio stuff too. As radio amateurs seem to always want to
talk about the weather (As Tony Hancock famously said: "Is raining not
in Tokyo?"), Tony's site includes weather info and charts showing
rainfall and temperature trends.

Take a look, at:

http://homepages.tesco.net/~a.wadsworth/index.htm

The index is on the left, the stuff about Morse and other codes is
(predictably) under the "Codes" button.

Enjoy!
