David G4EBT passed on a great extract from the book. I have read it many
times, I have a very worn New Canadian Library edition sitting on my book
shelf... it makes me think that I was born way too late, I missed my calling!
Another book of interest, "Grey Seas Under" --Farley Mowatt. While not
entirely about ocean going sparks, there are sections of the book that deal
with this and samples of the traffic passed. I would still like to find
other accounts, books, stories of this type.. Anyone else out there have any
to offer?
