Practice Andrew, practice, lots of it. They can rattle along. As I said in
a previous I could do 27 wpm in my prime but there were others faster than
that.At 30 and over you need to be a touch typist as hand writing just
about ends at that speed.
After many years of high speed transmitting many professional operators
sometimes started having difficulty. The hand used to tighten up and they
"nerve" sent. I suppose these days they would call it RSI, but once this
problem hit they were never the same again..It made for uneven sending and
mistakes.
