I heard some cw id signals on 1,717 to 1,800 Kc/s the other night about
0100 UTC here in VE1 land.  They seemed to be beacons, sending short id's
like  2B123 and KW1820.. has anyone else heard these and do you know what
they are?  Are they beacons for fishing gear.. drift nets?
