Hi Frank,
Is there a firewall in the circuit; perhaps the XP firewall is enabled. I
don't use it so don't know what it does or doesn't block. I prefer to use a
real firewall over which I have complete control. Would you trust micro$haft
to get it right?
I've installed XP Pro a number of times on a couple of diffferent computers
and have not had a moments trouble with Winpack and Telnet.
Cheers ... Ray
