This next picture is of Mt Owen and it is also in the Qweenstown area and
they have telephone towers on top of it. The main thing about this area is
the hills and the mountain for in the early days they killed all of them
with the sulphur that came out of the stacks,and made the hills bare and
the changes in the hills at the sun set.They also used the timber to run
the smelters.
