Greetings from W6RO. This is the Wireless Room aboard The Queen Mary
in Long Beach, CA, USA.

Each day, our volunteer amateur radio operators demonstrate the radio
arts and sciences to guests aboard ship, and QSO with other radio
amateurs the world over.

W6RO may be found operating CW and/or voice on the HF bands almost
every day. We do not have a fixed schedule or favored frequencies.
Most of our operators tend to favor 15, 17, 20, and 40 meters. In the
local area, we can also be contacted on the 2 meter band at 145.520 MHz
(FM) any time an operator is on board.

W6RO offers a handsome classic QSL card for confirmed voice or CW
contacts (sorry, a card is not offered for packet contacts). When you
make a contact with us, be sure to ask the W6RO operator for QSL
instructions.

You may send a packet radio greeting or inquiry to our station via the
following worldwide packet address:

w6ro @ k6ve.#sca.ca.usa.noam

We look forward to hearing from you.
