Ray, I used Word Perfect for years, and until recently. IT is a very good
word procesor; I thought it was better than the MS processors. The reason
I gave it away was that as a secretary of this n that some of the people
I sent files to who had other processors could not read the files. MS Word
seems to be able to convert the files these days but I have not gone back
to Word Perfect. I still have the disks here somewhere. I bought them for
$20 at a second hand shop! Illegal sale? I dunno.

Was that Wazza I heard in the background there? I thought they had got rid
of him to save the planet!!! Just joking Wazza!
Cheers,
Bob VK6BE

>I remember well the hour and a half it took to install Word Perfect from
floppies on a 4.77Mhz XT, and that massive 20MB HDD I installed..
