Hi,
We are trying to use CLX 5.04b on a RedHat 7.0 system.
The system is a AMD/K6 on 233 MHz, 64 MB of ram installed.
The system is starting well, CLX starts good, but when you someone is trying to
make a connection, respons is very slow.
Looking to the system it seems that connecting to the postgres sql server takes
a lot of system time, however other processes are not affected by it (FBB etc).
My test system on RH 8.0 is working fine for this, but is is a Celeron 433 MHz
and the amount of RAM is 256 MB, so it cannot be compared.
In the manuals of CLX it is stated that it can run on a 486, so obviously there
is something not working correctly.
Has anyone suggestions in this matter?
