BARTG is the UK's national group for those interested in AMATEUR RADIO
DATA COMMS - whether or not they reside within the UK.
Many amateurs will have heard of, and entered, the annual BARTG RTTY contest.
BARTG offers more than just a contest. Many amateurs do not realise that BARTG
is a club and not just a contest organiser. Aspects of BARTG which you may not
have known about are:
* a quarterly magazine, entitled DATACOM, which covers all aspects of
amateur radio's data comms
* an awards scheme covering all data comms modes used in amateur radio data
* a range of specialist components and software including
the well-known BMKMULTY multimode software and MULTYTERM terminal unit
* a news service on the amateur bands using the GB2ATG call
* a Web site at www.bartg.demon.co.uk
* an annual rally (hamfest) specialising in amateur radio data comms items.
This has attracted visitors from outside of the UK - the venue is just a
few miles south of London's Heathrow airport.
Membership of BARTG is open to ALL amateur radio data comms enthusiasts.
Details of membership will be readily supplied to you if you contact:
