Here's an item out of the 'Mirror' dated
Feb 8th 2001.

Quote ITS OVER AND OUT FOR CB.

I bought my son a cb radio for his
birthday, but have been disgusted
by the foul language.

All I heard were men asking women out
for dates - thats putting it politely
and thugs going on about how they were
goint to beat each other up.

And since we had a cb aerial put on
the roof,we've had people knocking on the
door at all hours of the night.

Just because they have a cb as well,
they think they can come in for a chat when it suits them.

It seems that as soon as somebody
turns on their cb, they turn off their brain.

I've now got rid of it.

No parent should let their children use a cb, and
the sooner they're banned, the better.
